The Commodore’s Party was held on Saturday 3rd May this year

A Real Weekend of Fun it was!

The Commodore’s Party had the best possible setting ever this year, taking place in a fresh, modern clubhouse with the bonus of good weather allowing for outside fire pit sitting.

This event is a wonderful chance to catch up with folks before the season gets well underway. It was very well attended and everyone was well fed and well drunk (I’m not sure that is quite what I mean!).

Roger thanked all those involved in the evening preparations but especially he flagged up the many people involved in the clubhouse refurbishment.

The only tiny gnat in the ointment was the scheduling of the 7am start breakfast race for the next morning! However, a hearty breakfast at The Bruce Arms soon sorted that out and one social event flowed into another. It was almost as if we were all 18 again!
