You can enter as many photos as you want, but any 1 photo cannot be entered into more than 1 category.
Commercial – All business activities that you see going on along the Forth: e.g. shipping, oil rig maintenance, Grangemouth, fishing, tourism, etc.
View from your Boat – Photos from your boat of your travels anywhere you adventure this season.
Wildlife – Any shots of wildlife on or around the Forth.
Boats on Location – Pictures of your boat out and about; remember to let us know where you were when it was taken.
Each category will have 3 winners (2 senior winners and 1 junior winner).
That will create a bank of 12 photos. These will then become our 2020 calendar and will also feature on our website and Facebook page The overall winner will be selected from these 12 and that photo will hold pride of place on the front cover of the calendar. Each of the featured photographers will win a copy of the calendar. Everybody else will be able to purchase these calendars for £8.50.
To enter, email your photos to – firstname.lastname@example.org (or hashtag on Facebook with #FCCPhotoComp2019) along the with the dates they were taken, where they were taken, the name of the photographer (and age if entering as a ‘Junior Photographer’), a note of which category it is being entered into, and a title for the photo. Please make sure your email subject line is FCC Photo Comp 2019. Photos should always be taken at the largest size available on your camera and jpeg quality should be set to ‘best’ or ‘fine’.
Closing date for entries October 31st. Prize giving will take place in the month after that- date etc. to be confirmed.
The judging panel will consist of 4 people (none of whom will be entering the competition themselves).
All entries will be assessed based on the following criteria:

Remember, if you are entering on FACEBOOK, don’t forget to ‘tag’ your photo using #FCCPhotoComp2019.
To qualify for the ‘Junior Photographer’, you must be 12 or under at the time the photo was taken.
Photos must be taken this year (this is about getting out there, not rummaging through your archives!).
Please take your photos responsibly and if your photo includes a person – please make sure you have their permission and they are aware that it could be a part of our calendar!
